Any Good Ideas - Help!?
Ok so I quit my job about 2 months ago and have found a new one... the problem? I start on Valentines Day haha... anyway... means I have no money for my parents this year for Christmas. I ain't really good with arts and crafts and all that stuff.... soooo I REALLY need help with what would be a good homemade gift I can make for them... and ASAP! Christmas is soon and I feel really bad because I couldn't buy them anything this year... any ideas?!

Emeraude:  Homemade See's Fudge - In case you can't see the link; 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, cut into 4 pieces, plus more for preparing pan 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semisweet chocolate chips 1 tsp. vanilla extract 2 cups sugar 1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk 10 large marshmallows 1 cup chopped nuts Lightly butter an 8-in. square baking pan and set aside. Combine the butter, chocolate and vanilla in a bowl. Set aside. Place the sugar, evaporated milk and marshmallows in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently. Reduce the heat to low and cook, stirring constantly, until the marshmallows have melted and the mixture has thickened a bit, about 6 minutes. Pour the hot mixture over the ingredients in the bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until the fudge is thick and dull, 4 to 5 minutes. Stir in the nuts. Pour into the pan. Refrigerate several hours to firm, then cut into 24 pieces. Source of Recipe: This clone recipe was in the LA Times Food Section Just add a little less evaporated milk than recommended or cook a little longer than you think the sugar mixture needs to be boiled, or it won't harden like fudge is supposed to, and act like frosting instead. Or you could follow the recipe, and put it on top of a chocolate cake. Also, just because the recipe says to cut it into 24 pieces doesn't mean you have to - I had some 56 pieces, since the fudge is really rich, and I had made it in a 7 x 11 inch pan.
